Ashghal opens Jerayan Nejaima Intersection for traffic

The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announced opening of Jerayan Nejaima Intersection, near the North Atlantic College of Qatar, in all directions, starting from Sunday 31^st, January 2016, while some pavement and utilities installation works are still in progress in the roads leading to the intersection. The opening of the intersection will contribute in easing the movement of traffic to and from the nearby universities and schools in the area, given the usual congestion at peak hours.

The opening of Jerayan Nejaima Intersection is part of a project to develop roads surrounding the camp in Al Duhail area, and as part of Ashghal’s efforts to enhance the traffic flow and ease the congestion across the country by converting a number of roundabouts into signal-controlled intersections.
