Ashghal: Alternative route for a section of Al Wukair Road Zone 91

The Public Works Authority announces that it will implement a traffic diversion on a section of Al Wukair main road as of Friday 5 February in coordination with the Traffic Department. The diversion will be in place for around one year and is required to facilitate the construction works of the main carriageway as part of the West Corridor Project.

During this time, two lanes in each direction on a section of Al Wukair Road will be closed in approximately 850 meter sections and traffic will be redirected to an alternative route with the same number of lanes in each direction as shown in the attached map. Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the diversion. The authority requests all road users to abide by the speed limits, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
