DTZ Qatar is training new talent to deliver its international best consultancy services to the Qatari market. The global real estate advisory has recruited two recent graduates, Ms. Ravvy Kaur and Mr. Luke Addison, as new team members. DTZ has recently been appointed to undertake a number of large scale feasibility studies within Qatar.

Commenting on the recruitment of the new members in the team, Edd Brookes, the General Manager of DTZ Qatar, said: “As members of the Qatari business community, we believe it is our responsibility to uphold the highest standards in delivering our consultancy and advisory services. Our valuation advisory adheres to international best practice and we have the highest percentage of RICS qualified surveyors. Guiding our new staff through their professional qualifications is a demonstration of our commitment to quality standards and the sustainability of the market.”

Ravvy Kaur joined DTZ Qatar from the organisation’s London investment team where she assisted with the purchase and sale of Business Space properties. She relocated to Qatar in November 2015 to join the Valuation Advisory team and has taken part in the valuation of large portfolios and single properties for both internal and bank financing purposes. Ravvy is in the process of completing her professional qualifications with the aim of becoming a full member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Ravvy Kaur, commenting on her new role at DTZ Qatar, said: “I’m really pleased to have joined the DTZ Qatar team. This is a very interesting time to be working in the Middle East and I am enjoying the challenge of working in a market with ever changing dynamics and a progressive and maturing real estate sector. I am developing my knowledge through my work with an experienced team and I look forward to being part of the Qatar real estate market and obtaining my professional qualifications.”

Luke Addison joined DTZ Qatar in August 2015, after graduating from Oxford Brookes University in the UK. Luke Addison added: “I’m looking forward to developing my expertise with a knowledgeable team. Growing markets present a greater learning curve as there are more regularly changing market dynamics to be taken into consideration. Having spent my life in the Middle East, I have witnessed tremendous advances in a short time span, and I look forward to being a part of the sustainable development of the real estate market in Qatar.”

As part of DTZ’s commitment to its graduate programme, and in order to support his Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) exams, Luke was hired to work in DTZ Qatar’s valuation team.
