Cityscape Qatar reconfirms more than one third of its exhibitors from 2016 for 2017

Cityscape Qatar 2016, the leading real estate and investment exhibition in the State of Qatar, successfully concluded this year’s event which attracted 92 of the world’s leading real estate companies exhibiting along with more than 6,633 participants over the course of the three day event.

Following this announcement, Cityscape Qatar has also confirmed that one third of this year’s exhibitors have already confirmed their participation in next year’s show, which will be held on April 25-27, 2017 in Doha, Qatar. Among the slew of Qatar-based exhibitors, industry heavyweights Just Real Estate (JRE), Al Bandary Real Estate and John Taylor will all be participating in Cityscape Qatar 2017. They will also be joined by Herald Land Real Estate, Cluttons, and Ibhar Enterprises, who all capped off a successful event.

During Cityscape Qatar 2016, JRE unveiled one of its premium projects; THE e18hteen, a flagship development that is currently under construction on the edge of the Marina District in Lusail City, offering 36 floors of office space with full amenities including retail outlets and an Executive Club. In addition to the distinguished selection, JRE also hosted other luxury projects at Cityscape Qatar 2016 such as Jenan Residence, The View Laguna Residence, La Verna Villas and Residences and the Conrad Doha.

On this occasion, Mr. Nasser Al Ansari, Chairman of JRE, said: "This has been our first participation at Cityscape Qatar. Our pavilion attracted a huge turnout, as we announced the launch of our operations and showcased a fascinating selection of our real estate portfolio. This platform helped us achieve the desired objective where we also signed several contracts which we will officially announce at a later stage." “After a successful debut at Cityscape Qatar 2016, we are glad to announce our participation at the 2017 version of the exhibition. During this period, we will add new projects to our real estate and investment portfolio. This will offer options to all those interested in having high-quality luxury real estate in Qatar at competitive and affordable prices,” Mr. Al Ansari added.

Meanwhile during Cityscape Qatar 2016, Ezdan unveiled its ambitious agenda of projects expected to see light in the coming months, which includes the launch of five projects along with an integrated multipurpose project, two projects in the hotel industry, and two others in the retail / shopping mall sector. All of these ventures have been categorised as “huge” in terms of size and cost, in addition to their target market and strategic locations across Qatar.

In addition, Ezdan also revealed key details of the Great Ezdan Oasis project that has been dubbed “the land of a million”. The project is a residential compound, including residential housing buildings across two floors, in addition to residential units, office, and other commercial properties in Al Waukair. Meanwhile, the project will also consist of a variety of 9,346 units, five clubs and eight mosques, along with an office building spread over 2,965 sqm.

Ezdan Holding Group CEO Ali Mohamed al-Obaidli said: “We are happy for the huge turnout of visitors at our pavilion; we have participated in the exhibition this year as an extended base of realty exhibitors and developers were present with the aim to showcase our distinct Ezdan brand in the world of real estate and architecture in addition to the group’s remarkable contribution to the massive construction boom taking place in Qatar.”

Ahmed Zakaria, Exhibition Director, speaking on behalf of Cityscape Qatar, said: “Cityscape is the home of real estate investment and where deals are sealed. Over the three days of this year’s exhibitions we have witnessed a plethora of landmark deals, partnerships and project unveilings, all of which are a firm testament to the value of this year’s edition of Cityscape Qatar.” Mr. Zakaria added: “The fact that we have had one third of this year’s exhibitors already reconfirm their participation at Cityscape Qatar 2017 signifies the strength and potential of the real estate and investment market in Qatar.”

Al Bandary participated in the leading real estate exhibition, Cityscape Qatar 2016, and witnessed a large turnout of visitors and also achieved a remarkable level of success. Cityscape Qatar 2016 offered a positive and appropriate step to connect with Al Bandary’s clients and to offer them special services, both in terms of price or quality, as well as to connect with partners and investors. During this year’s exhibition, Al Bandary unveiled three investment and development projects in different parts of Qatar. Most notably, the Bay Complex Project and Bay Villa in The Pearl-Qatar, which includes a number of villas and residential units. The project also includes 77 residential buildings, each consisting of between 30-35 apartments in addition to shops.

The Exhibitor also presented the Lusail Azure Project which saw a high turnout from visitors and a great level of interest, with the project consisting of residential apartments with stunning views. Al Bandary also confirmed that it will inevitably be participating in Cityscape Qatar 2017 due to the success of this year’s exhibition. This year’s event was an increasingly international affair with properties on showcase from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cyprus, KSA, Kuwait, Malaysia, Qatar, Turkey, the UAE and the UK.
