Ashghal announces a closure on part of Al Duhail Street

The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces that it will implement a closure on part of Al Duhail Street in both directions. The closed part extends from Al Shaflahiya Street intersection with Al Duhail Street to Jerian Nijema Intersection (Al Duhail Street intersection with Arab League Street), while keeping the service road open in one direction.

The closure will last for two months and half, starting from Friday 12 August 2016, in cooperation with the Traffic Department. During the closure period, motorists coming from Al Shaflahiya Street (Environment Street extension) to Al Duhail Street, heading to Arab league Street, can use the service road on Al Duhail Street,and follow the traffic diversion signs, as shown in the attached map. Ashghal will install road signs to advise motorists of the closure. The authority requests all road users to abide by the speed limits, and follow the road signs to ensure their and others safety.
