Ashghal: Traffic diversion on Al Aziziya Street

The Public Works Authority will implement traffic diversion on Al Aziziya Street, between Ibn Aamer Street and Umm Al Kharj Street. The traffic diversion will be implemented starting from Saturday, 20 August 2016 for a period of three months, in coordination with the Traffic Police Department.

During the diversion, the centre of Al Aziziya Street will be closed to traffic and one lane will remain open in each direction on the right and left sides of the street, as shown in the attached map. The authority is implementing this traffic diversion to continue the permanent construction works of the Roads and Infrastructure Project in Aziziya East Phase 4. Ashghal will install road signs to advise motorists of the diversion. The authority requests all road users to abide by the speed limits, and follow the road signs to ensure their and others’ safety.
