Temporary closure of Al Hiddan Street access from Umm Swaiah Street in Al Khor

The Public Works Authority announced that access and egress to and from Al Hiddan Street to Um Swaiah Street will be closed in the vicinity of Al Khor compound of Independent Schools for girls. The closure will be in place for two months starting Thursday 28 May 2015. (As shown in the attached map)

Vehicles will be able to access Al Hiddan Street by taking the exit from Um Swaiah Street onto Al Ishaiqr Street, turning left into to Al Shadidah Street and left again on to Al Hiddan Street. Egress to Um Swaiah Street will then be via Al Shadidah Street and Al Ishaiqr Street. Ashghal is implementing this temporary closure to complete phase two of the developments of roads and infrastructure of Al Khor Commercial Street. Ashghal urges all commuters to abide by the speed limits to help ensure their safety and to follow the new instructions displayed in the area to guide them.
