Participating in the "Excellence in Concrete Construction Competition", the Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ invites entrepreneurs for a meeting with Ashghal’s officials to discuss the detailed application requirements and answer any queries.
Ashghal will hold the meeting at its headquarters in Al-Dafna on Thursday 22 February, 2018 at 8:30 am to 10:00 am at tower 3. The Public Works Authority has launched the first contest for Excellence in Concrete Construction in cooperation with the American Concrete Institute (ACI). Ashghal invites entrepreneurs to submit their projects according to the terms of the ACI listed at http://www.concrete.org. Applications will be accepted until 7 March 2018, through contacting Ashghal’s Quality and Safety Department via the e-mail: asalih@ashghal.gov.qa.
The PWA requires that the proposed projects will be completed within 36 months prior to the date of submission, using innovative ways of concrete as a key element in construction. The award aims to encourage Excellence in Concrete Construction. The winning projects will also have the opportunity to participate in the International Concrete Construction Competition sponsored by the American Concrete Institute (ACI) through the Institute's office in Qatar.
