The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces the implementation of a temporary closure on Omar bin Al-Khattab Street, in both directions between Fareej Kulaib Roundabout and Al-Faihani Street, with the aim of completing works of converting Fareej Kulaib Roundabout into a signal-controlled intersection, and opening it to traffic with the start of the new school year.
The closure starts on Monday 13 August midnight and lasts for two weeks, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic. During this period, Al-Faihani Street and neighboring local roads can be used to reach the required destinations, as shown in the attached map. The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the closure. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit, andfollow the road signs to ensure their safety.
