Qatar Project Management (QPM), the leading Qatari project management company, announced its partnership with the latest edition of the Future Interiors conference being held in Doha from 7-8 September 2015 at the Intercontinental Doha, The City.

Industry summits such as Future Interiors play an important role within this specialized segment of the overall infrastructure sector, where new trends in sustainable architecture, as well as new best practices in specialized projects such as hotels and medical facilities can be discussed among peers. QPM, which consults on many leading public and private sector projects said interior and environmental design is an important aspect of ensuring sustainability across projects, particularly as Qatar and its project principals seek greater energy and resource efficiency, while also adhering to global standards in architectural design.

Future Interiors will cover the top trends in the Middle East’s hotel design sector, as well as Contemporary vs. Traditional Middle Eastern design, Healthy and energy efficient interior spaces, Ergonomic considerations in workspace design, and many other topical issues.

According to the organizers of the conference, Qatar currently has an estimated $220 billion projects pipeline, with the interiors and fit out market valued at over $800 million in 2014, with some studies expecting that to have doubled by the end of the year. The IMF, earlier this year, also said it expected Qatar to register the highest economic growth in the GCC in 2015 at 7 percent, as the country gears up to meet its infrastructure targets, making this an important summit not just for Qatari firms, but also leading agencies from the region wishing to enter a high potential market.
