The Public Works Authority announces that part of Al Kassarat Street extending from Roundabout 15 to Roundabout 2 in the industrial area will be closed for 6 months starting from Thursday 12 May 2016, in coordination with the Traffic Police Department.
Traffic will be diverted to the opposite side of the road which will be expanded to accommodate traffic in both directions, as shown in the attached map. This traffic diversion aims to facilitate the implementation of the roads and infrastructure development project in the industrial area, which will enhance traffic flow in the area. Ashghal will install road signs to advise motorists of the diversion. The authority requests all road users to abide by the speed limits, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
